Mansfield

Located between Nottingham and Sheffield, Mansfield is a thriving community known for its friendly people.

The town is an ideal location for commuters wherever they work in the East Midlands with the M1 motorway nearby and the Robin Hood railway line connecting the area to Nottingham and Worksop. The shopping centres of Newark, Nottingham, Chesterfield, Derby and Sheffield are all within 40 minutes drive.

Following the closure of many of the areas coal mines Mansfield has re-invented itself along with the remainder of northern Nottinghamshire and evidence of new industry is everywhere.

New leisure and shopping facilities are in abundance with the town boasting a swimming complex, a football stadium for Mansfield Town F.C., several golf clubs and a ten pin bowling facility. The Four Seasons shopping centre has a variety of high street stores all catering for an expanding town.

Tourist attractions include Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park and Newstead Abbey. The town boasts its own theatre, multi screen cinema and with numerous places to eat from fast food to the more lavish restaurants the town has a lot to recommend it.
