Leading housebuilder contributes over £350,000 to Tibshelf
A new development from Mansfield based homebuilder Rippon Homes is providing a total of £357,477 in community contributions for the local community of Tibshelf.
Work will commence this month (July) at the development called Cavendish Gardens on Doe Hill Lane.
The homes have already been so popular that 37 of the 57 homes have been bought off plan by keen home hunters.
As part of the planning agreement and the housebuilder’s commitment to supporting local communities, Rippon Homes is providing over £275,000 for education and over £43,000 for children’s play areas in the parish of Tibshelf.
Ian Dyke, Managing Director at Rippon Homes said: “Cavendish Gardens is the ideal development for families, so homebuyers will be pleased to know that we are supporting education in Tibshelf, which the local schools will benefit from.
“Play areas are important in supporting a child’s development and aiding their learning experiences. Our contribution towards children’s play areas will also benefit the schools, as well as local residents.”
Rippon Homes will also contribute £10,000 towards public art and £27,010 towards the maintenance of the local parks and play areas within the parish of Tibshelf.
Ian further commented: “We believe in the importance of supporting local areas wherever we build a new development. Tibshelf is a beautiful small village which we are proud to contribute towards.
“There are plenty of activities for homebuyers to enjoy, such as the Five Pits Trail which is ideal for walkers and cyclists. The spectacular Hardwick Hall and Chatsworth House are just a short drive away, as well as the delightful Peak District National Park.
“Tibshelf also offers excellent transport links, which makes our development Cavendish Gardens ideal for commuters and young professionals looking for their new home.”
Due to the popularity of the homes for sale, there are only a small handful of three bedroom properties and one four bedroom home available at Cavendish Gardens
One of the house styles available is The Pennymore, a three bedroom semi-detached house with a fully fitted kitchen/dining area and an en-suite shower room in the master bedroom. There is also the advantage of two allocated off road parking spaces.
Another house style available as semi-detached or detached is The Shirland. The three bedroom home features an open plan staircase on the first floor and French doors in the dining/kitchen area which open onto a fenced and turfed rear garden.
The last remaining four bedroom home is The Woodford which features an attractive traditional double fronted design. The master bedroom includes en-suite facilities and there is also a family bathroom.
With prices starting from £173,500, the last remaining homes are now available. Rippon Homes is able to provide assistance for homebuyers with the Help to Buy scheme and a Sales Assist scheme.
The Government backed Help to Buy scheme allows homebuyers to buy a new home under the value of £600,000 with just a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, with the final 20% made up by an equity loan provided by the Government.
Rippon Homes also offers a Sales Assist scheme, where the housebuilder pays the estate agents fees and asks two local estate agents to make arrangements and value the homebuyer’s current house. This saves time and money for homebuyers, as well as the hassle of instructing an estate agent.
Due to the popularity of the development, prospective homebuyers are encouraged to enquire quickly about the final few homes remaining, as they are likely to sell fast.
