Long-established Mansfield based housebuilder Rippon Homes has recruited a new Site Manager and two new Assistant Site Managers to help drive development at three sites under construction in the East Midlands.

Award-winning Stuart Clay, aged 42, has been appointed Site Manager at Oakham Gardens, Mansfield, with Liam Platts, 34 and Alan Isaac, 56, appointed as Assistant Site Managers at Cavendish Gardens, Tibshelf, in Derbyshire and Roman Meadow, at Welton, Lincolnshire, respectively.

As Site Manager at Oakham Gardens, Stuart, from Wollaton, Nottingham, has extensive experience in the building trade, having worked his apprenticeship as a joiner with David Wilson Homes. He was also employed by Bloor homes for seven years and has been a site manager since 2005.

Stuart’s on-going commitment to high standards throughout his career has been recognised by Pride in the Job and NHBC Health and Safety awards.

My father was a ground worker. His example and working experience were the reasons I decided to pursue a career in the construction industry and it has been my life ever since. As Site Manager at Oakham Gardens I maintain a firm commitment to high standards and aim to help with the successful future of Rippon as the firm continues to grow.”

Established in 1953, Rippon Homes is renowned for craftsmanship, care and comfort, building high quality housing that really feels like home across the East Midlands.

Oakham Gardens is a small development of 25 three and four-bedroom homes on the outskirts of Mansfield. The first occupants moved in during July and most of the homes have now been sold.

Ideal for families and commuters, Oakham Gardens is within easy reach of the A60, A38 and M1 for travel throughout the region and beyond. Visitor attractions at scenic Sherwood Forest, Sherwood Pines, Clumber Park and Rufford Park, are just a short drive away.

Ian Dyke, Managing Director at Rippon Homes said: “We are delighted to welcome our new recruits to Rippon Homes, who bring invaluable expertise and extensive experience to boost our construction team.

We have total confidence in their ability to ensure our developments remain a top choice for new home buyers. This is an exciting time of growth for Rippon Homes, as we continue to deliver much needed housing across Mansfield and throughout the region. We wish them all well in their long-term future with us.”

With prices from £218,000, Rippon Homes can assist homebuyers with Help to Buy and Sales Assist schemes.

The Government backed Help to Buy scheme allows homebuyers to buy a new home under the value of £600,000 with just a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, with the final 20% made up by an equity loan provided by the Government.

Rippon Homes’ Sales Assist scheme enables housebuilder to pay estate agent fees, saving buyers time and money and stress.
