Mansfield based housebuilder Rippon Homes has recently promoted three hardworking employees to Sales and Marketing Director, Director of Production and Commercial Director, following recent success and as part of its growth plan.

With more developments in progress than ever before, Rippon Homes has been expanding its team by taking on new employees as well as making promotions within the business.

Julie Johnson, who joined Rippon Homes in May 2020, becomes the developer’s new Director of Sales and Marketing. Julie continues to bring a wealth of experience to the business having worked in the property industry since 1984.

Julie said: “I chose to work for Rippon Homes as it’s a regional company with good values. It is committed to growth, and I felt I had the opportunity to add value and make an impact.

“I now oversee the sales department and I am responsible for achieving the business’ sales targets. I hope to enjoy the rest of my career at Rippon Homes, and being an integral part of its growth.”

Neil Vickers was recently promoted to Director of Production, after starting at Rippon Homes in 1991 as an apprentice bricklayer. Neil has progressed through several roles within the company, including Assistant Site Manager, Site Manager, Contracts Manager, and Head of Construction.

Neil said: “I have always worked for Rippon Homes. It is an excellent company to work for, one which holds good morals and ethics. I’m delighted to have been promoted to Director of Production, in which I now oversee the build at all developments.

“My average day includes planning build routes and programmes for site, as well as participating in meetings and helping problem solve with other departments. I hope to continue to help drive the company forward, and I hope we can eventually reach a stage where we build over 500 homes a year using modern build methods.”

Neil Critchley, who joined the developer in May 2021, is now Rippon Homes’ Commercial Director. With over 20 years in the housebuilding sector, Neil continues to use his expertise to help the company expand.

Neil said: “I joined Rippon Homes because of their vision to grow. Having previously worked for larger housebuilders, I really enjoy the close-knit family here, there is a real feeling of comradeship.

“I will continue to work to help the business to expand and modernising the business by looking at new ways of building.”

Rippon Homes currently has homes available at The Burrows at The Edge in Worksop, Eleanor Gardens in Navenby, Marquis Gardens in Old Dalby, Rose Gardens in Lea, and Fox Hollow in Market Rasen. The developer will also be launching several new developments later in the year.
