Upcoming Bassingham development takes a step closer with public consultation
Residents living locally to Rippon Homes’ upcoming development in Bassingham will be given the chance to share their views on the proposals at a consultation event.
The plans for the scheme, which is located on Whites Lane in the Lincolnshire village, will go on display in the Hammond Tower Room at Hammond Hall between 3pm and 6pm on Wednesday 24th July.
The proposal is for a brand new development of 39 homes, 10 of which are allocated for affordable housing.
The mix of the new homes, of which there are nine different styles, will aim to meet the needs of buyers in a range of circumstances, whether they are looking to move onto or up the property ladder.
All of the properties will be designed to be in keeping with the local vernacular and sustain the village feel.
The existing tree belt to the south west of the development will be maintained and the homes are to positioned so as not to impact on the future health of the woodland surroundings.
Ian Dyke, Managing Director of Rippon Homes, said: “We hope to receive a positive response from local residents in Bassingham to the proposals that we have put forward for our site on Whites Lane.
“This will bring much-needed, quality-built homes to the area that will help those struggling to get onto the property ladder.”
